Downtown Texas, Texas Dedication
During the Rally on Saturday at 6:00 pm our community
"Downtown Texas, Texas"
will be dedicated by
Paula Nelson, the daughter of the famous Texas Icon Willie Nelson.
This is a very Historic event in that the naming of a new community has not occurred within approximately 150 years in Milam County.
We invite you to join us and be part of this Historic dedication ceremony. If you choose to sign the witness affidavit as a participant dedicating this new community, your name will be recorded at the Milam County Courthouse along with the proclamation for generations to come.
Later that evening, after Paula's main stage performance you will have the opportunity to have your photo taken with Paula here in Downtown Texas
In Texas we have very notable communities like Luckenbach, Cut & Shoot etc. Now another will appear after many moons. Come on out and bring your friends and families, tent or RV camp for the weekend party and be part of this historic dedication.
